Greatest place we've ever stayed in, and we've stayed in several up and down Bank's Road. Especially appreciate management's responsiveness and attention, as well as that of the house manager Taracita and Ms. Shirley. Helios is everything that's special about a Bahamian out island, including the road to get there, the incredible blue water and wildlife, and yes, even trying to boil water for pasta at sea level (which is an atmospheric thing, not a Bahamian thing). The high quality of the stairs to the beach, the incredible view from the pool, and the comforting shade of the palapa in the sand are all the things insufficiently appreciated until you try to vacation without them. Love Helios and hope to return next summer.
