What a great place...!
We recently had a marvellous holiday at Helios House; it was very luxurious and at the same time we felt very at home. We were 3 families with kids and we divided the houses between us in a way that everyone was comfortable with. The owner of the house (whom we had the pleasure to meet and talk to) has created a fantastic place on Eleuthera. With good taste for architecture and interior design he renewed this place for himself and family. Everything is of high quality with a personal touch. We were the first to try the brand new kitchen, cleverly designed and equipped for lots of people.... All the features mentioned on the website are there, and even more. The beach-spa-condo is almost finished and will give an extra dimension to it all. We also booked the Italian chef for several dinners, and she’s great! She cooks really tasty meals. You can talk about your wishes and she will make the best of it, even when some (fresh) ingredients are hard to get on the island. Also ask her to give you advice on the choice of wine, she’s got a nose for it! I will never forget my 2 boys in the infinity pool at sunset while I turned on the sonos sound system an the coloured pool lights....:” it’s a disco pool!”

Perfection...
We had a family holiday at Helios House. It doesn’t really get better that this. There are three houses, the Main House, Tower and Cottage. Each is spacious and very well appointed. I loved hanging out at the terrace at the top of the Tower. The views are amazing. The beach is unique and totally private. We saw only two other people on the beach all week. The water is turquoise and we snorkelled the reefs right in front of the house. The staff at the house was very friendly and helpful. The chef made the most delicious dinners, which made this a real holiday, not having to worry about anything. Helios House is like staying in a five-star resort. We’ll be back!

Helios House is one of my favourite properties in Eleuthera. Large and with great eminence, it is a well thought out home, with mulyiples living and entertaining spaces, both inside and out. It serves a large group well, since you can spread out or congregate. From the property the house feels completely private, even though both Governors Harbour and Palmetto Point are short drives away. The dirt roads that lead to the house off paved Banks Road are medium rough, but not treacherous like some others on the island. The pool is beautiful, and a treat when the Atlantic waters are too rough. The beach is very good, wide enough, and good for walking. To the north are some fun tidal pools. Decent beach snorkeling, but better a bit south. Don't miss the view from the tower deck during the day, a commanding vista of the yard, beach and ocean! We had strong breezes almost every day, keeping the bugs away. The owner Bertrand is easy to work with and very communicative, and he is always updating & improving the property. I plan to stay here again and again.
