Just fabulous!
What an amazing place to stay! Helios House has a fantastic ‘wow’ factor when you arrive which every member of our large family group felt. We were a party of 15 (10 adults, 5 children aged between 2-14). Helios House has everything that the family could want. The beach was just fantastic, perfect for access to the sea and quiet, with the pool providing respite for the smaller children (and adults actually). The cabana on the beach ensured we lived on the beach from breakfast until teatime, providing welcome shade. Our holiday was sealed with my niece’s boyfriend proposing to her on the beach! She said yes! It was a first time visit for the majority so our votes for places to eat include Tippys (our favourite place on the island), La Bougainvillea (easy to walk to, watch the tides), Buccaneer Club for breakfast (the Governor of the Bahamas was there for one of our visits with his crew of police and security). We shopped at Rock Sound Market Place and at the liquor store next door - it has everything you need), plus Island Farm for salads, rum cake and cheese (fresh bread and buns on Tuesdays and Fridays). Bertrand was brilliant, everything was easy. We would all love to return one day!

Place is gorgeous. Location amazing. Host so warm and welcoming. Superlatives would be redundant. If you're considering this place it's an easy yes!

End of Summer Vacation!
An exceptional property in a beautiful location. Everything worked, which is not always the case in a tropical setting with direct ocean exposure. Special thanks to the owner recommended JD Catering, Josh D, who flawlessly executed grocery shopping and meals for the week!

Amazing week in the Bahamas
Bertrand has thought of everything! Beach toys, shade at the beach, workout room with massage table by the beach (we had Mary Culmer come everyday to give massages), well equipped kitchen, comfortable living space. Couldn't have asked for a better week!

Incredible Vacation at Helios House
Helios House was truly paradise. Incredibly well appointed overlooking the ocean just beyond the palm trees. We came with a family of 17 and occupied all 3 homes on the estate. We ranged in age from 80yrs to 5yrs and everything in between and the home and the island were perfect for everyone. We are a family that loves to cook and the kitchen was fabulous and well equipped. Fresh produce was a bit hard to find but we were told that going directly to the farms is the best way to go. The infinity pool was luxurious and many many hours were spent in it. We hired a masseuse and were treated to massages in the little hut right on the shore - you could hear the waves through the sliding glass doors and feel the ocean breeze. The beach is very private and feels like its exclusively yours though we did meet the neighbors on our long walks and they were all warm and welcoming. This is true of all the Bahamians we encountered. Shirley the housekeeper came 3 times a week and was lovely. Bertrand was very responsive to my many questions before the trip and gave tons of information. He was a pleasure to deal with. Go! You will not be disappointed :)
